THE HOTEL

A Castilian palace nearing the end of the 15th century, declared a historical and artistic monument, is the splendid frame that shelters the Hotel Ayala Berganza.

This unique hotel, nestled in the heard of the city of Segovia, enjoys a privileged setting, beneath the shadow of the Romanesque Church of San Millán and only two minutes walking to the aqueduct.

ROOMS

The hotel has 17 rooms, of which there are 13 doubles, three individuals and one suite in the tower that boasts a row of stunning arched balconies from the XV century.

Each room is characterised for its quality and specially cared ornamentation, and everyone is distinctly decorated to offer you a more comfortable stay whether it be for pleasure or for work. All of the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, telephone, piped music, mini bar and hair dryer, as well as satellite TV with an ample offering of channels included.

MEETING ROOMS

To guarantee a successful work meeting or any other type of private celebration, the hotel has two meeting rooms: one with capacity for 20 people, and the other one with a capacity for 12, both equipped with screen, overhead projector and a board for writing.

RESTAURANT

In the restaurant we only offer breakfast service with a varied buffet for your morning enjoyment from 08:00 to 10:30 daily, with spirited classical music.

HOW TO GET THERE?

The Hotel Partner Ayala Berganza is located in the centre of Segovia next to the San Millán Church, two minutes on foot to the Aqueduct.

By car from Madrid or Valladolid, once in the inner part of the city, follow the signs direction Ávila to the roundabout where the bus station and police station are. Passing this roundabout, make your first right and at the end of the street on the right hand side is the Hotel door.

From the bus station: Cross the street Ezequiel González and get on Fernández Ladreda. Circling the San Millán Church, go down the hill and at the bottom on the left is the Hotel.

The hotel is in the pedestrian centre of Segovia, if you wish to park in a covered parking, two minutes by foot from the hotel is the Aqueduct public parking, with reconciled price for guests. When exiting the parking, exit at "salida a S. Millán".

WHAT TO VISIT?

Segovia shows off an enviable architectural ensemble. On one hand you have the Aqueduct of Segovia, from the end of the 1st century, a city emblem. On the other hand you have the Cathedral, together with the Cathedral of Salamanca, the last Gothic cathedral built in Spain, whose architectural elements form an impressive set. The Fortress is raised on the rocks of the western end of the city and shelters the city's weaponry museum.

Other notable constructions are the Church of San Juan de los Caballeros, Romanesque Church of San Esteban and the half-caste Church of San Martín, Romanesque with Mozarabic elements.

In the surroundings of the city one finds the "Real Sitio de La Granja", former farm of the Hieronymus monks that passed to be a secluded spot of Felipe V, with a few fantastic vaults painted in fresco and pictures and furniture of the XVIII and XIX century. Pedraza is equally near to Segovia. This romantic medieval villa full of art, typical restaurants and monumental landscapes was declared a historical-artistic set.
